Connecting Voice to Soles: A Medicine Journey

This intensive workshop is a journey into the realms of conscious voice and body movement. Using breath as support we will discover our own soul song through singing exercises and mindful dancing. Our voices will connect us to the Great Spirit while the soles of our feet ground us to Mother Earth (Pachamama, Gaia). We will explore the Medicine Wheel at the Garden of Eden by entering the Tree of Life and going down to its roots, and through the waters of the underground river we will reach our own version of Soul Paradise. This journey is for those who are called to explore their voice and body movement in a sacred and ceremonial fashion and space. After the retreat portion an unplugged Medicine Music Concert will be offered as part of this workshop.

Registration Requirements:

Attendees must be adults, 18 or older. No previous singing or dancing experience necessary.

Each participant is responsible for his/her own wellbeing. Each attendee has the choice to decide how much he/she wants to participate in the activities/exercises throughout the workshop according to their stamina and health. An area within the space will be dedicated for those who might need to rest. All workshop activities/exercises are an invitation to explore deeper within in a supportive community. We expect all attendees to arrive on time and stay the entire duration of the retreat to keep the integrity of the ceremonial container. If due to an emergency someone would need to leave, please communicate this to the facilitator before leaving the premises.
