Two Knights Brewing Co, Highland Events, and Primal Soup are very proud to officially announce the very first Soup Stock! A musician-organized celebration of the local music community, spearheaded by Maine’s premier Phish Tribute, Primal Soup, and the community they have grown from.
We have organized alongside our partners for months, preparing for what is surely going to be a magical party and a showcase of incredible local talent and local artist solidarity.

What to Expect:
Soup Stock will be a two-day outdoor festival-style event in Sangerville, ME. Taking place in a large, beautiful field behind Two Knights Brewing Co., Soup Stock will be showcasing local talent from Boston’s own original powerhouse and Maine favorite, Skyfoot, performing TWO sets throughout the weekend -to Maine’s premier Phish tribute, Primal Soup, performing FOUR different sets throughout the weekend -to an especially rare appearance from Maine reggae/dub band “The Masses”, performing a late night deep, dub set -to phenomenal Maine original acts The Crowded Table, Bandwich, and solo performances from Keith Briggs of Bandwich, Cam King, and Maine looping legend Jordan Kaulback - along with multiple collaborations and late night sets on both nights, taboot!
There will be free camping available with a weekend pass, a shakedown, illuminated trees across the festival grounds from Lorax Lighting, food trucks, delicious local craft beer sold on-site by Two Knights Brewing Co, potable water and clean porta-potties all weekend, as well as properly trained medics on-site.
Another part of this endeavor that was really important to us musicians/artists who have collaborated to organize this event, is its affordability. We all know what it’s like to struggle financially. We believe that community and art-based solidarity also means making that community available to as many people without paying an arm and a leg. Since all of these bands make up a thriving scene, and since there is no third-party production company taking a cut of the ticket sales, we decided that we will currently be making full weekend passes only $60, which includes free camping.
As we move along and get closer to party time, we will be announcing more features of this weekend, including updates concerning merch sales, scheduling, band and artist showcases, vendor, site, and volunteer information, musical collaborations, as well as tangible incentives to make it as inclusive as possible to visual artists and live painters.
