# Event Details - **Event Name**: LGBTQ+ life drawing class - **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 27 Jan, 2026 at 07:00 pm – Tue, 22 Dec, 2026 at 08:30 pm (+00:00) - **Event Description**: Come and join an inclusive and welcoming life drawing class at New House Art Space, Guildford - open to all abilitiesAbout this EventA queer 18+ life drawing class celebrating the diversity and beauty of LGBTQ+ bodies.Basic materials will be provided (such as paper, clipboards, pencils, pastels etc) but bringing your own is encouraged. We will begin with an intro to the space and the model, I will explain the prompts/techniques to try, give you some guidance and we'll get into the creating! We will have a short break mid way and also time for sharing and socialising at the end.The class is open to all abilities (even if you think you can’t draw - you CAN!) and our aim is to create a brave and vulnerable space for us to connect and enjoy the creative process together.More about the class:These classes, run by local artist Kai Kathleen, were started in response to noticing a huge lack of queer spaces in Guildford at the time. Having attended a few standard life drawing classes themselves, Kai noticed a pattern of similar body types and a lack of inclusivity which left them dreaming of creating a space where trans and gender non conforming bodies could be at the forefront.Representation is so important for our community, you can’t be what you don’t see, and so seeing a range of body types being admired as the art they are, can be so impactful for people. The classes aim to be a place where people can take some time to rest, knowing who they are is fully welcomed and accepted and have become a wonderful way to connect with queer people in the local community and beyondFor more info or any questions please email Kai at hello@kaikathleen.com https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/cff3a950-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w986-h740-dce8c8c8-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/d0374200-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w986-h740-dc080808-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/d0690060-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w986-h740-dc080808-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/d0a2fc20-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w715-h740-dc080808-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/d1023320-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w738-h740-dcb8c8e8-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/d1600a90-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w738-h740-dcb8c8e8-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/d1acf210-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w738-h740-dcf8d8c8-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/d1ffa5f0-c25f-11f1-8343-39970249843c-rimg-w738-h740-dcf8d8c8-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/guildford/lgbtq-life-drawing-class/100001979470644985 - **Event Categories**: workshops, art, fine-arts, lgbt-pride - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 1 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: 18+ - Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes - Location: New House Art Space & Gallery - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 11, max: 19.12, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: Guildford - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: New House Art Space & Gallery - **lat**: 51.2369839 - **long**: -0.5781615000000001 - **full address**: New House Art Space & Gallery, Fays Passage, Guildford, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: LGBTQ+ life drawing class - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/3813292c61a265cfd9888d1401c5804d91c1e6a000078b1f3687a45204d02bba-rimg-w1200-h607-dcffffff-gmir.jpg?v=1767306184 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is LGBTQ+ life drawing class being held? - **A:** LGBTQ+ life drawing class takes place on Tue, 27 Jan, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Tue, 22 Dec, 2026 at 08:30 pm at New House Art Space & Gallery, Fays Passage, Guildford, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing LGBTQ+ life drawing class? - **A:** LGBTQ+ life drawing class is organized by Sophie Kathleen. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
