We’re thrilled to announce that DAiSY FEST is back! This winter, we’ll host a two-day arts festival at G Live in Guildford. This year’s theme is ‘Connections’ – giving us a space to reflect on people, places, creativity and explore the new possibilities that emerge when we come together.
This November, we’re bringing together our growing network of arts and charitable organisations to understand what makes both micro and macro communities thrive. The festival as a whole is a wider exploration of how social, artistic, and organisational networks can support innovation, access, and collective growth.
We’ve chosen 'Connections' as this year’s theme to celebrate the collaborative spirit at the heart of our network model. By bringing together artists, disability organisations and cultural partners, we see how shared ideas and experiences spark more ambitious, inclusive cultural projects. Connections invites us to reflect on the value of working together to build stronger, more creative communities.
On Friday 21st November, the festival launches with a series of conversations, reflections and actions to understand what is gained when we work together. Alongside exhibitions and performances, this dynamic gathering centres around two ‘long table’ discussions exploring how macro and micro communities can support and connect artists. This is a ticketed event, details released soon!
On Friday 22nd November, G Live, will be a vibrant hub of cultural activity, featuring film screenings, live performances, workshops, installations, and stalls from member organisations to cultural partners. Explore exhibitions, add your own mark to participatory art pieces across the foyer and check out artist-made short films. Watch the theatre come alive with puppet shows, dance, and music. Take part in clay sculpture, collaborative canvases, and textile art. This is a free and accessible event open to the public!
