J. Casson, Gordon Couling, Kathleen Daly, Prudence Heward, Edwin Holgate, Arthur Lismer, Evan Macdonald, J. E. H. MacDonald, Doris McCarthy, J. W. Morrice, George Pepper, William Goodridge Roberts, Tom Thomson, Frederick Varley, and others—with contemporary artists John Chalmers, Susan Dobson, Kim Dorland, Don Russell, Stephen Shore, Monica Tap, Takao Tanabe, and Pearl Van Geest. Through this conversation, McCabe and Shuebrook will explore the connections at play across the exhibition, considering how works made in different moments illuminate one another through their attention to light, place, memory, and the changing conditions in which they work.All are welcome; light refreshments will be served.
