Meeting at the York Road entrance we will walk the grounds (outside) and learn about the development and past of each of the existing buildings and notorious events which occurred on these grounds including stories of previous inmates residents and employees. Tours are approximately 1.5 hours in duration. Tour is OUTDOORS ONLY.Parking on York Street in designated areas (approximately 100ft west of the entrance on the south side of York Rd.)We will be offering tours by RESERVATION ONLYTo book your tour click on the Book Now tab and reserve your space. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AS SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.Suggested donation $10-20 per person (cash or e-transfer to guelphurbex@gmail.com)*Notes:• We will be walking on uneven ground (route not wheelchair accessible) so please try to wear flat comfortable walking shoes• Tours will take place rain or shine warm or cold (with the exception of extreme weather such as excessive heat or thunderstorm watches/warnings) so please check the weather in advance. If it may rain do bring an umbrella and rain jacket (these will not be provided). It may also get cold and windy so do wear layers.• There are no washroom facilities on site or directly nearby so please do plan ahead. The closest washroom is in Tim Hortons at Victoria and York (204 Victoria Road South)• To keep the environment clean if you bring any food or beverages with you (only non-alcoholic permitted) please bring your garbage back with you as there are no garbage disposal units on site.• You must stay in permitted areas.
