Landsaver Native Garden Design will discuss:

🌱 The benefits of planting native and how native plants support local ecosystems and wildlife

🦋 Creating habitat in your own yard, from choosing the right plants to thinking about how they work together

🌿 Garden design tips for incorporating native plants into an existing landscape

🏡 Making the transition to natives without feeling like you have to completely redesign your garden

🌾 The mission behind the business and their work helping homeowners discover the benefits of native plants

Whether you already have a native plant garden or you're simply curious about where to start, you'll leave with new ideas and inspiration for making your own landscape more ecologically meaningful.

🌿 Meet Our Guest Speaker

Marissa started her native plant business, Landsaver Native Garden Design, earlier this year with her business partner, Aaron Vargas, after separating from the Navy.

Their passion for native plants began several years ago when they and Aaron took the Master Gardener course. A friend introduced them to the world of native plants, and they quickly became hooked. They went on to volunteer with the Georgia Native Plant Society, helping homeowners transition their landscapes toward native plants.

What started as a shared interest eventually became a full-time mission: helping people create beautiful landscapes that work with nature rather than against it.

Come learn, get inspired, and discover how even small changes in your garden can make a difference. 🌱
