Joe Thompson @ Big Rail Stage

A Western Pennsylvania native, Joe Thompson has hocked his cocktail of Heartland Rock and Dusty Folk-tinged Country from Pittsburgh to New York City to Austin, Texas. In 2010, Joe and his backing band The Comfortable Catastrophe took the highest honor at WNYC's inaugural Battle of the Boroughs beating out over 10,000 applicants and hundreds of performers for 1st place. ��Returning to his Western Pennsylvania roots in 2011, Joe plays live all over NW Pennsylvania as a solo acoustic act or with The Bus Company:, an exciting, dynamic act playing both Joe’s original tunes and creatively reimagined covers that ranges from a duo to an 8 piece electric Americana ensemble.
