Bowzers Donation Update
(A Year In The Making)
Last year we went Aladdin Shriners' Feztival Of Trees,
Which is a yearly fundraising event.
It cost $5.00 to get in and then you buy books of raffle tickets 10 tickets for $5.00. You then go around all 35+ X-Mas trees which are completely decorated and have gifts on and under the trees and you choose which tree or trees you want to try to win.
We inquired at the event on how we can become a tree sponsor. While we were waiting for the applications to open up we started purchasing ornaments, tree and gifts.
They ask that the tree, decorations and gifts be valued at I think it was $250. I did not add everything up yet but I think our tree is valued at about or close to $1000.00.
Our tree and gifts are themed specific, with what was there last year our tree has got to be the closest to it's theme.
All decorations on the tree resembles items that we sell on our food truck. All gifts under the tree resemble food in general, one way or another. For example I know that we have a Piggy Bank that is in the shape of a slice of pizza.
The event runs from November 22nd to November 29th Closed On Thanksgiving Day.
On top of buying tree raffle tickets, they have a raffle for $1000.00 which tickes are $5 each. They are also going to have a lottery tree this year where you can win hundreds of dollars in Ohio Lottery Scratch Offs.
Other features will be During each event day, attendees will also find food, cookies, children’s ornament decorating, visits (and free pictures) with Santa, musical performances, and a magical tree wonderland to get you in the holiday spirit.
Mark this on your calendar to make this event more successl than what it was last year.
We will also not just have the tree for raffle, but we will have flers to let everyone know who we are and what we are about and we will have a one time use coupon for 20% Off that can be redeemable all the way up to and including December 31st 2025.
We always are looking to give back when we can, and when we seen this oppurtunity last year I looked at my wife and said we had to do it and we have been buying since we were at the event last year. A matter of fact we picked up a few more items today.
We will post a photo of our tree and gifts after it is setup so you can see what our tree has to offer. Tree setup is November 18th to November 20th.
