You Will Learn…
How to Shoot in Manual:
Understanding your equipment and exposure.
Throughout the workshop, I’ll walk you step-by-step through a curriculum designed to help you confidently shoot in manual mode. We’ll cover everything from understanding your DSLR and lenses to troubleshooting common issues, so you can take control of your camera instead of letting it control you. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, along with hands-on training, so you can practice what you’re learning and get personalized guidance along the way.
Guided Coaching and Hands On Training

Our guided coaching and practice will be broken down into three engaging segments. We’ll start with landscape and still life foundations, giving you the chance to slow down and really understand composition, lighting, and camera settings. Next, we’ll dive into portraiture and the art of human connection; how to direct, pose, and capture authentic emotion. Finally, we’ll wrap up with a stylized family photoshoot featuring a model family, where you’ll put everything into practice in a real-world setting with my guidance by your side.
Guided Photo Editing Workshop

We’ll also connect for a guided Zoom meeting focused on photo editing and composition feedback. During this session, I’ll walk you through how to use Lightroom to bring out the very best in your images and refine your personal editing style. We’ll also explore techniques for producing striking black and white imagery that elevates your photos and adds timeless impact.
The online components of the workshop, including editing tutorials and group feedback sessions, will be scheduled based on what works best for the group to ensure maximum participation and engagement.
Bring a Friend** Participants can opt to bring a friend for a reduced fee (both the participant and the friend would receive the discount). To qualify, both participants must register and list the other on the sign up form. This is a great way to share the experience, learn side by side, and support each other as you build your photography skills.
Cancellation Policy -
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are available up to 14 days before the workshop date, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable. If the workshop is canceled by the instructor for any reason, full refunds will be issued to all registered participants.
Weather Policy -
This workshop will proceed rain or shine, as much of the training is held indoors or under covered areas. In the event of extreme weather that makes it unsafe to hold the workshop, the session will be rescheduled. All registered participants will be notified as soon as possible, and their registration will automatically transfer to the new date.
