- **Event Description**: This holiday season, take a few hours for yourself and join us for a special Mother Trees gathering as we celebrate the closing of another year with Dr. Miriam Engstrom and local Fiber Artist, Angela Zachary. 

In this cozy evening of self-discovery and connection, Dr. Engstrom will guide us through a short meditation and visualization exercise to reflect on the seasons we find ourselves in. We'll explore symbols that tell the stories of our current journeys and Angela will instruct us on how to needle felt our chosen symbols onto our favorite garments. No experience is necessary for this event!

To cover instruction and materials, a sliding $25-35 registration fee is requested (this includes fiber and felting supplies you'll need in class).* Take home kits will be available for additional purchase. To register, email mothertrees313@gmail.com with your RSVP and venmo details will be provided for payment. 

For this event you'll need to bring a garment. Wool and wool blends work best. Acrylic, denim or a tote bag will also work. What won’t work: fine fabric such as a linen or jersey shirt

Don’t have a garment in mind? We’ll have material you can use to make a patch to adhere to anything!

*No one will be turned away for an inability to pay, so if you would like to join us but this fee creates a financial hardship, please let us know in your registration email and we will cover your fee.
