Kids Culinary Series: Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice
Come join us for a fun and interactive cooking event at The Spice & Tea Exchange of Grosse Pointe! Let your little chefs explore the world of flavors with our Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice workshop. They'll learn how to create delicious treats while discovering the magic of spices. It's a hands-on experience they won't forget!
In this class, kids will learn all about salts & salt infusions, sugars and sweeteners, create a few fun treats, and make a custom blend to take home! It's a great summer mix of education, snacks, and hands on experience!
Activities in this class are best for ages 7-12. Please call 313-499-8572 for more details. Please let us know of any allergies.
Info: We’ll start at our Salt Wall and learn some interesting facts about this necessary mineral, including our own local history with it!
Info: Kid friendly to make and eat!
Info: Next we’ll move to our Sugar wall and learn the different between Honey, Sugar, and Monk Fruit + talk about how each effects us!

Info: Get a behind the scenes view as a Spice Master Apprentice and create a custom blend to bring home!
Info: We’ll end with a fun group activity and gather all of our creations to take home and share with family!
