Reiki is a spiritual practice that evokes deep healing, relaxation and calm. My clients, herd and I benefit from it every day as a way to be present and in the moment.
The application of Reiki is useful to deal with our own energetic issues, ensuring we start sessions in a good space, are a pure vessel for our clients and that we remain centred and grounded.
For the horses you work with Reiki helps to build a strong trust-based bond. It improves communication between you and the horse, gives you a way to improve their health, deal with illness or injury, know how they are feeling, emergency first aid when they're spooked or injured or to provide two-way support after a difficult or heavy session.
For clients Reiki supports your ability to be open, non-judgemental and in tune with a clients energy, enabling them to take what they need without it compromising our energy levels or integrity.
The course is done over 2 days. In the course we will cover:
- the basic principles of what Reiki is
- how to develop focus; be more grounded; balance the head, heart and gut and develop better focus through posture
- how to treat ourselves with Reiki
- how to treat others with Reiki (inc. pets and horses)
- how to infuse a space with Reiki energy
- the mind-body connection
- 4 energy blessings to switch your connection to source energy on
- how to apply this knowledge to Equine Assisted and Facilitated work.
At the end you'll know enough to have a daily meditation practice, treat yourself with Reiki, treat friends and family, support your clients through being more calm, enjoy greater presence and treat your horses and pets. You are also invited to become part of my online Reiki Community to receive ongoing guidance and support.

I have been teaching Reiki since 2014 to a range of professions and am delighted to offer an Equine Assisted specific course with the help of my herd of horses and as much horse time as is possible. I continue to learn through my teacher and have a busy practice teaching, treating and supporting my herd.
