💗We are delighted to have guest teachers Sophia Steng & Claudio Pintus from Leipzig! They are such creative and versatile teachers. The other facilitators are Andrea Sangiacomo, Barbara van Male and Otto Roth.

About Sophia Steng
Sophia began dancing CI in Leipzig in 2012. She has a slow-paced and inclusive way of holding dance spaces. Influences of tango, contemporary and west-African dance add to her wide range of material. Besides that she also teaches classes for children and is mother of two children.
About Claudio Pintus
Claudio is a creative person with many years of experience in Ashtanga Yoga. In recent years, he has discovered an interest in contact improvisation and is fascinated by the freedom that this form of dance brings. Every week he starts with dancing and yoga, which gives him energy and new inspiration. He looks forward to sharing his interest with others.
About Andrea Sangiacomo
Andrea is a philosopher, meditator and mover. He has a background in Ashtanga Yoga (200h teacher training with Gregor Maehle and Monica Gauci), conscious and ecstatic dance (facilitator training with DanceTheMedicine), Contact-Beyond-Contact (facilitator level 2). He studies CI in the Netherlands and abroad and is currently doing a one-year CI teacher training in Freiburg.
About Barbara van Male
Barbara van Male is a dancer, movement researcher and editor. Her way into CI started from contemporary dance and performance projects in public space and site-specific works. Her practice is informed with different disciplines she trained in: capoeira, tango, meditation, (and ballet and judo from childhood). She joined several intensives and trainings in CI, Axis syllabus, BMC and contemporay dance.
About Otto Roth
Otto Roth has been dancing since 2004, exploring all kinds of styles and movement practices including contemporary dance, movement improvisation, Gaga dance, partner acrobatics and more. From 2007 he dived into CI. As a clear and versatile CI-teacher he hands practical tools, techniques and pathways into contact improvisation, with a focus on relaxation.
