The Yoga Office is offering deepening courses to increase your knowledge of your own practice and to take it to the next level.
The first series is focussed on backbends. Backbends tend to bring up exitcement or fear. This is not that suprising; you are making yourself literally fulnurable. Your chest is fully exposed as well as the rest of your front body. If there would be a lion you would have a problem, yeah for sure. But there is no lion out there. Going deeper into your backbends means going deeper into feeling save, knowing you can handle each situation. That is why backbends are so emotionally healing.
On the physical level; backbends are great as a counter act for our long days of sitting behind our computers. Many of us get more tight overtime in the front body. This backbend workshop is great for undoing some of this 'damage'.
Besides all the physical and emotional benefits, this workshop is also just a lot of fun. We are going to explore some fun and playful poses and transitions that will leave you wanting to do more!
And, YOU WILL! Each practicionar will get personalised homework that you either do by yourself, or with others. There is the posibility for ACLO-members to rent a space (for free) at ACLO where you can practice together with other practicioners.
The practice is suitable for students that have been practicing for a little while and more advanced students. No matter if you are very flexible, very tight or somewhere in between; you will benefit from this workshop for sure.
To complete beginners I would recommend to start with a beginners course combined with some time of regular practice.
1st meeting: 23st of November, 1 - 3 PM
2nd meeting: 14th of December, 1 - 3 PM
In between time: Personalized homework and practice with others.
