Beginner Friendly Rendezvous!!!
Do you have an interest in Mountain Man Rendezvous? Come join us this weekend. We will have a modern camping area near the Period camp. Plenty of room to self contain RVs also.
The dates are 5 days long, but its not required to be there the entire time. Come the entire time or just a day or 2.
No Camp Fees.
Trader & Trader Blanket Fee- Prize blanket item.
Competition on Saturday.
Competition Fee- $10
Pre-1840 Attire to Compete for 21 and up. 20 and under any attire is ok.
Pre-1840s Primitive and Modern Camp Areas. All are Welcome.
You must follow camp rules in either area. -
*No digging fire pits. Bring a fire ring, fire box, etc if you have it in case of burn ban. Usually there is downfall wood to cut, but best bring some.
*No vehicles in camp from 10am to 5pm unless approved by Booshway. Please watch for pedestrians and kids.
*No blasting music on speakers.
*No flashing, extremely bright, or colored light in camps. Reasonable light such as flashlights are ok. The whole point is to learn about period reenactment. Most of us work by candlelight and lanterns doing things at night.
*Be respectful of others camp. Ask permission before you just walk in.
Restrooms and Showers on site.
Potluck Supper on Saturday. Get with Booshway, Segundo or the Fort to put what you are bringing on the list.
Water on site. Bring drinking water.
Call the Fort for info on lodging and RV hook-ups. Plenty of room to self contain RVs also.
Reenactors- Volunteers needed for Dog Soldiers. If you are interested, call the Booshway.
