You’ll learn how water moves through Poweshiek County, what watershed systems we’re part of, and why understanding our surface water matters - for things like flooding, water quality, conservation, and the health of our communities.

Also, learn how to become part of Poweshiek CARES Citizen Water Quality Testing project, where we test for nitrates in 7 waterways.
