- **Event Description**: Please come and help us design a ‘What Is Autism?’ Discussion Group that will provide information about what it means to be AutisticAbout this EventWe need your help!What?: Please come and help us design a ‘What Is Autism?’ Discussion Group that will provide information about what it means to be Autistic and what’s the lived experience of Autistic people.Who is the group for?: People who are awaiting a diagnostic assessment; people who’ve recently been diagnosed; people who know they are Autistic (self-diagnosed); and for family, partners and friends who want to learn more about Autism so they can support their Autistic relative, partner or friend.Maximum participants: 15When: Starts next Tuesday 7th July at 3.30pm-5pm, then every Tuesday thereafter for a total of six weeks, with the last one on Tuesday 11th August. You don’t have to come to every session, but it would be great if you could commit to at least four out of the six sessions as places are limited and we want to get as much feedback and input as possible from people for this Peer-Led Group.Where?: Quest Training Rooms, Heritage House, Fisherman’s Wharf, Grimsby, DN31 1SY. Parking is available on-site. Please note this is a Council Car Park and you will need to pay for parking, which is £2. - You can allso attend this event online via teams.
