This one-day camp for campers entering 6th-8th grade combines cardboard engineering and circuitry to provide a highly engaging, STEM-focused experience. This camp is ideal for creative tinkerers who like to construct with cardboard and who love to make things WORK. Campers will get to take home a circuit kit to extend the fun from camp to home!
This camp takes place in the Education Center at Metro Recycling Facility, a dynamic space overlooking the recycling sorting process. Campers will also learn about Metro Waste Authority's recycling guidelines and get a behind-the-scenes look at recycling processes at Metro Recycling Facility, a world-class, state-of-the-art recycling facility.
Snacks will be provided, and each camper should bring their own lunch and water bottle.
