Make it Urban!

This one-day camp for campers entering 1st-5th grade is a highly engaging, STEM-focused experience. Campers will work together to build a cardboard town with buildings, houses, vehicles, and plenty of creativity and character. This camp is ideal for creative tinkerers who like to construct with cardboard and who enjoy working with children of different ages.

This camp takes place in the Education Center at Metro Recycling Facility, a dynamic space overlooking the recycling sorting process. Campers will also learn about Metro Waste Authority's recycling guidelines and get a behind-the-scenes look at recycling processes at Metro Recycling Facility, a world-class, state-of-the-art recycling facility.

Snacks will be provided, and each camper should bring their own lunch and water bottle.
