Dehydrating & Preserving Class 🥕🍓
Learn how to safely preserve meats, fruits and vegetables using science-based dehydrating methods designed for long-term storage. In this class, we’ll cover proper preparation, drying temperatures, moisture testing, and what happens after dehydrating—storing foods correctly in mason jars and mylar bags for quality and shelf stability. This is a practical, hands-on class focused on understanding the why behind each step, so you leave confident in preserving seasonal produce safely and effectively at home.

We’ll also spend time on practical, everyday use of dehydrated foods, including how to rehydrate them properly and incorporate them into daily cooking. From soups and sauces to snacks, baking, and meal prep, you’ll learn realistic ways to use what you preserve so it actually becomes part of your kitchen routine.
