Bush to Belly Westport

We’re partnering with Department of Conservation again this year to promote the National Wild Goat Hunting Competition on the West Coast with a series of “Bush to Belly” events. Come join us at the Westport DOC Office for a fun day centred around goat hunting! We’ll have presentations on various topics such as protecting our environment and hunter and gun safety, along with demos on breaking down goats and making sausages. We’ll have some tasty goat-based dishes available to try as well.

As part of the National Wild Goat Hunting Competition, it’s also an opportunity to register your tails, get your goat heads measured, and win spot prizes.
