Komplettiert wird das Trio von Julia Zech (Gesang, Banjo), bekannt aus dem deutsch-neuseeländischen Americana-Duo „Stereo Naked“.

Neben eigenen Songs interpretieren The Polly Dartons vor allem Stücke von Songwriterinnen aus Bluegrass und Americana – von Pionierinnen wie Hazel Dickens bis zu Vertreterinnen der neuen Generation wie Sierra Ferrell.
