- **Event Description**: The Mt. Hood Jazz Camp offers students in grades 9-12 an extensive look into the art of jazz improvisation. Join some of the finest jazz educators from the Pacific Northwest as we explore creative techniques and ideas for making music.

All instrumentalists and jazz vocalists are welcome and no experience is necessary. Students are grouped into levels.

Location: Mt. Hood Community College
Dates: June 22-26, 2026
Camp Hours: 10am – 3pm
A final Jam Session Performance will take place Friday, June 26th at 1:00pm. All families are welcome to attend!

Faculty includes:
Dan Davey (piano/trumpet/director), John Savage (sax), Quinn Walker (trumpet), Kenny Ross (trombone), Charlie Doggett (drums), Tim Gilson (bass), Ryan Meagher (guitar), Clay Giberson (piano)

Tuition fee: $300.00
