Virginia native Kevin Selfe is a premier force in the modern blues revival, delivering a swampy, primal sound rooted in the traditions of the rural South. Now based in Portland, OR, this master guitarist and captivating storyteller effortlessly bridges the gap between traditional blues and modern artistry. His live performances are legendary, charged with an electric energy and deep emotional depth that resonate with audiences. Backed by his band, The Tornadoes, Selfe’s undeniable talent has earned them eight prestigious Muddy Awards for Blues Act of the Year, alongside Selfe’s own dual inductions into the Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame for Traditional Blues Act and Electric Guitar.

A critically acclaimed recording artist, Selfe has released chart-topping albums on renowned labels Delta Groove and Vizztone, earning spots on the Billboard Blues Chart and heavy rotation on SiriusXM’s Bluesville.
