- **Event Description**: Standing Together for Our Youth & Families

Over the past year, The Underground PDX faced an unexpected crisis with the sudden loss of vital grant funding—a loss of nearly 90% that directly supports our core operations. Despite this setback, our commitment to the young people and families who rely on our community space, mentorship, and wellness programs has never wavered. We have been working tirelessly to diversify our revenue, yet we are still struggling to meet the budget by 50%. These funds go directly to staff, operations, food, rides and outreach.

The 2026 Underground Rodeo Gala is more than a celebration—it is our most important effort of the year to bridge this critical funding gap. Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, and direct donation made at the gala goes straight toward keeping our doors open and sustaining our free and accessible youth programming, fitness classes, and family support services.

By joining us at the Gala, you ensure that our athletes and families continue to have a safe, empowering space to build resilience, strength, and life-changing connections.
