Join us for the 2026 East Metro Esports Championships & Expo. Middle and High School students from over 13 school districts and afterschool programs will participate in championships in Rocket League, League of Legends, and Tetris.
While students battle for gaming supremacy, there will also be an Expo with an Intel Gaming Lounge, PC Build Station, Industry Speakers Panel, Mini-College Fair, Mobile STEM Labs, and more for all to participate, including a Technology Raffle for all students who participate. Eventbrite registration is required for all people (adults and students) attending the Championships & Expo as spectators. All students who are spectators can participate fully in the many elements of the expo, including breakfast and lunch, as well as the Technology Raffle during the award ceremony at the end of the Tournament.
Please feel free to join us for this community event and support the students from across the state who are participating this year. Have an interest in starting an Esports program at your school or Afterschool program? Bring some students to the Expo and see firsthand how our tournament and expo are conducted.

Info: The GBSD Tomorrow bus is a STEAM lab on wheels! It visits K-8 schools in GBSD and participates in community events to provide hands-on, future-ready learning. It will be parked in Parking Lot A so that students can participate in various STEM activities throughout the day.
Info: Our College Fair is back for 2025, and we are excited to have Mt. Hood Community College, Clark College, Oregon State University, University of Oregon, Oregon Tech, Warner Pacific University, and George Fox University. Many offer scholarships for Esports, and all have programs in game development, computer science, computer engineering, graphic design, data science, and/or more.

Info: Day One Tech will host a STEM Demo in our Intel Lounge. Day One Tech is a culturally responsive technology education organization that is designed to empower our collective communities that have been traditionally disempowered. They reserve the right to understand STE(A)M as a system of organic ideas our ancestors have cultivated since time and memorial. They provide entry-level technology experience and career education for youth and their families. They provide an education model based on trauma-informed care and cultural construction. They strive to deliver innovative solutions that connect a disconnected community toward a connection that meets people where they are.
Info: Building Blocks 2 Success will host a STEM Demo in our Intel Lounge. Building Blocks 2 Success (BB2S) has been operating since 2008 on the principles of empowerment using STEM as the incentive for learning. The mission of Building Blocks 2 Success is to get ethnically and gender-diverse underrepresented youth from the Portland Metropolitan area excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through exposure and participation in STEM-related programs and activities.
Info: All of the teams who were pre-registered with there school or afterschool program should check-in at the time. Only the coach (or lead adult for the day) checks.

Info: This is the check-in time for everyone not competing in the tournament. This is the check-in for parents, families, educators, other students, and community members.
Info: This will be the official Kick-off to the 2025 East Metro Esport Championship & Expo.
Info: Tournament Gameplay Begins. The Gameplay Schedule will be available at Check-in.
Info: Lunch will be available. Lunch is free and available to all attendees while supply lasts.
Info: Students attending will get raffle tickets for each station they attend while at the Expo. The raffle will begin at the end of game play so this could be earlier than 3pm or later depending on game play. Students must be present to win.
Info: Trophies will be presented for the High School and Middle School Champions for Rocket League, League of Legends, and Tetris while also having closing remarks.
