Bookworm Buddies

Get together to read, talk about books, and do fun activities that go along with the books at Bookworm Buddies on Monday, January 26th from 4:00-5:00pm. Our monthly Bookworm Buddies is split up into different ages into groups. Please register all participating children. For further questions, please call the library at (302) 855-1242.

Butterflies (ages 6-8) will be diving into Leroy Ninker Saddles Up by Kate DiCamillo, followed by related activities. Kids are encouraged to read (or listen to) the book before the program. Copies of the book will be available at the Greenwood Public Library, and e-books and e-audiobooks are also available on Libby.

Caterpillars (ages 3-5) will have their own cowboys & cowgirls story time and craft followed by play time.

Little Wrigglers (ages 0-2) will have their own play area with their parents or caregivers.

This program provides an opportunity for young readers to develop literacy, critical thinking, and foster social interaction.
