Beltane, Gaelic for "large fire," is a Celtic festival celebrated with bonfires, marks the beginning of summer on May 1. May crowning, a Catholic tradition in May, honors the Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven (Revelation 12:1-2), often with floral crowns symbolizing purity and new life. The crowning of Mary and imagery of light and new beginnings associated with Beltane merge on May 1.  

May Day Special -- our own Corned Beef & Cabbage with Irish soda bread. 

6:00 - 8:30 PM - We welcome Clay Babies, a husband-wife song-writing duo in northeast Georgia known for original music, as well as traditional Celtic music, folk songs, Americana, acoustic rock and Appalachian.  Along with singing, they mix up some duo combination of guitars, fiddle, Irish bouzouki, mandolin, bass, and Irish tenor banjo.

To welcome Summer, celebrate your Celtic heritage and don your best May Queen or Green Man decor - participants receive a 5% discount on their meal (alcohol not included).
