As we celebrate freedom this Juneteenth, we ask: What’s next for the new Americans—those who fought for a nation that still struggles to see them as fully human, fully equal?

Though the Civil War ended over 150 years ago, the battle for justice, dignity, and equality continues—especially for Black service members who have defended freedoms they’ve yet to fully receive.

VetForward invites our community to reflect, engage, and rise together in the ongoing pursuit of liberation for all.
