- **Event Description**: Join us on August 7 from 10:00 AM–Noon as we help clean up along the Flat River in Greenville! Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

We will be removing litter and debris along the Fred Meijer Trail and along the banks of the Flat River. All cleanup equipment, including trash grabbers, bags, gloves, and sharps containers, will be provided, along with light snacks, sunscreen and bug spray.

LGROW will send reminder emails and event updates to those who register. This is one of three stream cleanups we're hosting this year. Find more details through registration.

Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress in clothes that can get dirty. Long pants are encouraged.




The Flat River is a great place for fishing, paddling, and spending time outdoors, but litter and stormwater runoff can hurt water quality and make it harder for local communities and wildlife to thrive. Join us as we remove trash and debris to support a healthier creek, stronger neighborhoods, and cleaner water for everyone downstream!
