Southwest Greensburg Borough and the Blackburn Center invite the community to participate in the Red Sand Project on Thursday, July 30 at 12:00 p.m. at Red Devil's Field, 716 Foster Street, Greensburg, PA.

The Red Sand Project is a powerful public art initiative that raises awareness about human trafficking and the vulnerabilities that can lead to exploitation. Participants pour red sand into cracks and sidewalks to symbolize those who "fall through the cracks" in our communities.

This event is being coordinated by Shelby Frick, Southwest Greensburg Borough Junior Council Person, as part of a collaborative effort between the Blackburn Center and Southwest Greensburg Borough.

July 30 is recognized as World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a day dedicated to raising awareness and promoting the protection of victims of human trafficking.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and stand together in support of awareness, prevention, and advocacy.
