Tickets are on sale for the City’s Human Rights Commission’s (HRC) 40th-annual breakfast honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 7:30 am on Monday, January 19, at the Koury Convention Center, 3121 W. Gate City Blvd. North Carolina Central University Chancellor Karrie G. Dixon, Ed.D., is the featured speaker at this year’s breakfast, which is themed, “From Words to Action: Advancing the Dream Together.”
Tickets are available online upon registration and cost $35 per person ($350 per table of 10) through December 15. After that date, the price increases to $45 per person ($450 per table of 10). Ticket sales end January 12, 2026.
