Hirsch is honored and delighted to welcome world-renowned teacher, meditation pioneer, and NYTimes bestselling author Sharon Salzberg for a special evening to explore the resiliency of the human spirit. For many, overwhelm and stress have become all too common. Greater balance of heart and mind is key to sustaining ourselves, especially in the face of daily challenges. Through the practice of meditation, three essential skills that help cultivate balance are developed: concentration, mindfulness and compassion. Together we will emphasize these skills to move us towards deeper care, both for ourselves and for others. It is suitable for both beginning and more experienced meditators.
