Advent Service of Lessons and Carols

St. Andrew's invites you to an Advent Service of Lessons and Carols, December 14, at 10 a.m., in the sanctuary. This service of scripture, song, and prayer reflects the promise of the Advent and Christmas seasons. Each lesson, or scripture reading, is followed by an anthem or congregational hymn, accompanied by harp and violin in addition to organ and piano. Together, sacred Word and music tell the story of mankind’s longing for liberation from sin and death, our hope and expectation for the coming of Christ the Lord, and God’s message of love and redemption.

Join us for this Advent tradition, and may it draw you toward the true joy of Christmas.
