Celebrating over a decade of SOAP!
SOAP are a multi-award-winning cover band from Dunoon, Scotland.
Since forming in late 2015 they have been gigging constantly throughout Scotland with regular slots in their hometown and around Argyll.
The band has had notable support slots with the likes of Brownbear, 80's pop giants ABC and internationally renowned pipe & drum act Clanadonia.
The band have performed at well known venues such as the famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, The Clutha Bar in Glasgow , The Bungalow in Paisley and Live in Loch Goil.
The band features Kenny McLay (Vocals/Guitar), Callum Newall (Drums), Liam Somerville (Guitar/Vocals) and Liam McCabe (Bass) John Stuart (Keys)
In 2018 they created Stay Fresh Music Festival which has raised more than £44k to date and given support to local bands and charities. They were recently longlisted for The Scottish Live Music Awards ‘Festival Of The Year’
This special event is to celebrate a decade of the band, featuring special guest and lots of songs never previously performed, in a setting like you’ve never seen them before.
The band are delighted to have support from local musician Zucchini.
Zucchini, the American musician who has found a home in the charming town of Dunoon Scotland. With his love for experimenting and pushing boundaries Zucchini’s live performances are a testament to his talent and passion for music. His use of a loop pedal adds a dynamic element to his covers of old and new songs creating a mesmerizing and immersive experience for his audience. His stage name “Zucchini” is a nickname given to him, born from his last name, Jason Zuccarini. Although now in the UK he doesn’t mind if you call him Courgette. As an expat, Zucchini brings a unique perspective to his music, blending together different cultures and sounds to create a truly unforgettable musical experience.
