Kayak down this remote mountain river called the Toe. The milky way dances overhead on most nights while cicadas, frogs 🐸, and the nighttime creatures sing. Float quietly down the river with your eyes peeled to the sky for a variety of astrological delights in 2026. 

Space is limited to 38. Tours include food with a true Chicago 🌭 (from USA Chicago hot dog co, bacon cheddar, reg 🌭,  chicken dog) chips/fruit, and a drink at the river outpost picnic area. For the full moon tour food around the campfire will take place after the paddle. For the meteor shower and lunar eclipse tours food will be served before the tours!

August 11th: Perseid Meteor Shower ☄️☄️915pm-12:15am

Price:
$75/person, includes food, 2-guides, a 2-hour paddle in a lit up boat and a few glow accessories ✨️ 👌 of your choice. Don't forget to wear a headlight.

Military, fire, police, educators and Healthcare professionals also get a 10% discount 
 
If these fill up pretty regularly, we might make them a weekly tour addition! Don't forget we have lodging walking distance to the river in a Tipi and tiny house at Hidden Holler, unique mountain river farm-stay .
