The Hardins Chapel Ruritan Club is hosting our 61st Annual Tennessee Pit Style Hand Pulled Pork BBQ Sale

Hardins Chapel Ruritan Community Center
3320 Baileyton Hwy, Greeneville

There will be a couple of options making it possible to customize your own dinner for your family!

• BBQ option- 1 full pound of delicious hand pulled pork for $14.00 at the door, available for $12.00 by preordering.
• Side bundle option- An 8 pack of buns, 4 small bags of chips, 1 pint of baked beans, 1 pint of slaw and a 1/2 gallon of tea or lemonade for $14.00, also available for $12.00 by preordering.

These options make it easy to feed a large family and allow purchasing as much BBQ and/or sides necessary for your families preferences!

We are offering a convenient drive-thru process so you never have to leave your vehicle for pick up.

Bulk orders are certainly appreciated!
Delivery within a reasonable area will be available all day.

Preordering can be done by purchasing tickets from our Ruritan members. You may message our Ruritan Facebook page or reach out to individual members to ensure you receive tickets. You may also order in our drive thru day of, however, we do suggest preordering to save $2 per pound. Also there will be limited quantities of sides so it is highly recommended to reserve in advance.

Started in 1965, our BBQ sale is an anticipated event to many each year! Our barbecuing process starts with a hardwood fire in the large pit that is fed all night by our Ruritan members. The next morning the hot coals are tamped down and 800-1000 pounds of pork are added and covered to slowly simmer. The pork is in the pit around 24 hours, cooked to perfection. The pork is removed from the pit, pulled by hand and then mixed with just the right amount of sauce, ready for your dinner table!
