As part of this long-standing holiday tradition, Christmas cards will be carried on horseback from the Green River Post Office (350 Unita Dr, Green River, WY 82935-9998) to the Rock Springs Post Office 350 Unita Dr, Green River, WY 82935-9998.

A drop box is available at the Green River Post Office for anyone wishing to include cards in this year’s ride. All cards must be properly addressed, have correct postage, and be ready to mail. Each card will receive the group’s special Pony Express Stamp before being placed into the historic Mochila for transport.

For those unable to visit the drop box in person, cards may also be sent directly to:

Green River, WY 82935

Cards sent to this address must arrive no later than Friday, December 12th, so they can be delivered to the Post Office in time.

Riders will depart the Green River Post Office at 11:00 AM on December 13th.
Cards will be accepted at the Green River Post Office until Friday, December 12th at 5:00 PM.
