Green River Rocks 2026

Save the date! The next Green River Rocks festival will take place April 10-12 at the John Wesley Powell River History Museum in Green River, Utah.

Our event kicks off Friday April 10th with a lecture from archaeologist R.E. Burrillo. We'll continue the fun on Saturday with a market featuring rock and mineral vendors, educators, and demos. Saturday evening Science Moab joins us for their signature "Science on Tap" event.

We have an amazing line-up of field trips departing from the museum on Saturday and Sunday the 11th and 12th. We highly recommend getting to Green River by 4pm on Friday the 10th. Field trip sign-ups happen in-person at the museum starting at 4pm, roughly 2 hours before the opening lecture.
