UWGB Theater Hall Room 212

This engaging adventure captures the hearts of both young and old with spirited verse and humor galore!  Robin Hood is leading a merry life with his followers in Sherwood Forest.  Unfortunately, the evil Prince John has taken the place of King Richard the Lion-Hearted, who has gone to the Holy Land on a crusade.  With King Richard absent, Prince John is waging a personal war against Robin Hood.  Meanwhile, Lady Merle of Cornwall hopes to make John more acceptable to the people of England by forcing Maid Marian, Robin’s childhood sweetheart, to marry the wicked prince.  Only the brave and shrewd Robin Hood can secure Nottingham for the safe return of the king.
Rehearsals:

Week 2 and 3 of classes  -- after classes (June 16-26)
Monday - Thursday 6:45 - 8:15

Starting June 30 until July 17 
 Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 7:00 at 1662 Morrow Street

July 21 - July 24 
4:30 - 8:00 at UWGB
July 28- July 30 at UWGB 
4:30 - 8:00 Tech

July 31 and August 1 performance at 6 pm
August 2 performances at 11 and 1:30
August 9 performances at 2:00 and 6:00 Theater in the Park -Whitney Park


Auditions will consist of singing a song of their choice - 24 -30 bars  

Ages 7 - 18 encouraged to audition - no experience needed
