Cost: General admission – $5/person (5 years and under FREE!)

Artist Bio – Sumera Khan

Sumera Khan is a modern impressionist oil painter, urban sketcher, arts educator, and active community member based in Katarokwi/Kingston. As a BIPOC artist and caregiver to individuals with invisible disabilities, she brings a strong commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and community-building through the arts. She is deeply engaged with the local arts community through her role as a member of the board of directors at Union Gallery, her presence at the Tett Centre’s Creativity Studio Space, participation in exhibitions, curatorial and jury roles, and Development Council member at Modern Fuel. She leads many community arts programs, including programs at the Kingston Senior Centre.

Sumera has received multiple grants from the Ontario Arts Council and CKAF 2025 from Kingston Arts Council & the City of Kingston. Her work connects people through the meaningful stories in everyday life.
