Event: DCCS Wolfpack Trail Run (event with Hoka)
Brian Bell - Hoka representative will be bringing test shoes for us to try on our run. There will be swag giveaways and other goodies for runners. Remember, bring any donated shoes and we will be collecting for Sneakers4good program.
Location: Great Falls National Park - when you enter park (payment typically necessary or NPS pass) - immediately go straight and pass the Visitors Center on your right. On right, we are in that parking lot all the way at the end towards the trees.
Time: Runners typically arrive around 6 pm. We have a few announcements, take a group photo, and head off on the run.
Run typically begins around 6:05 pm and runners return around 7 - 7:15 pm.
Course: Varied terrain depending on which way we go, weather conditions, etc. Some routes involve rock hopping, some involve hills, some involve speed and comfortable running.
Pace: Open to all paces. Walkers and even dogs are welcome.
Distance: Some runners go 3 miles, some go 5 - depends on your pace and interest level.
What to bring: Bring hydration if you need, trail running shoes are a plus, comfortable running gear. Headlamps required typically end of October to early March.
*DISCLAIMER: This run is open to all runners, however you should have some experience with trail running. There may be times where you may be running by yourself and we can't always guarantee you will have a runner near you running with you. We will certainly make sure you understand the course as best we can provide before you get started.
RUN LEADER(S) - may switch weekly: Peter H, Chris K, Bryan Z, Rick A
