Give Thanks - Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon

Make plans to join your First UMC Family for our Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon scheduled for Sunday, November 16.

There will be one worship service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by our Thanksgiving Luncheon in Fellowship Hall.

Our congregation members lovingly prepare the luncheon — many hands make light work, right?! Sign-up sheets will be available in the back of the sanctuary. An RSVP is being collected, but you are still welcome to invite friends and family members — just let us know they’re coming!

A free-will offering will be taken to support our Christmas Food Boxes. This December, we plan to deliver roughly 50 food packages to families in need.

As another way to give back, we’ll also be collecting cold weather gear for Barton Community College students. Please bring hats, gloves, socks, and new or gently used coats to help keep students warm this winter.
