Featuring an all star cast of musicians, members of The Roots Rock Reality Band combine decades of experience on the stage to create a powerful, vocally energetic, bass heavy, rhythmically entwined showcase of Bob Marley's catalog. The group returns to the Berkshires with their heavy hitting reggae Tribute show for their first appearance at the Barrington Hall after a couple of sold out shows at the Egremont Barn.

In Addition to Bob Marley classics, this show will also feature special segments honoring Peter Tosh, whom along with Bunny Wailer and Bob Marley, was one of the core members of the band the Wailers, after which he established himself as a successful solo artist and a promoter of Rastafari.

Fronted by I Anbassa (NY/CT) and IanI Soultree (MA) on vocals/rhythm guitar, the band delivers compelling renditions of the King's music, as well as mashups of reggae classics and some originals. The rest of the band: Robin Setal on bass, Freddy McCondichie on drums, Dan Thomas on lead guitar, and Jay Metcalf on keyboards; have performed behind Burning Spear, the Meditations, Johnny Osbourne, Mystic Bowie, Denroy Morgan (among others from Jamaica) over the decades: play regionally, nationally, and internationally; & have their own respective recording and touring projects in NY CT and MA.
