Spend a day learning with horses at Chattanooga Audubon Society. This Spring Break camp invites young people to connect with animals, build confidence, and learn practical skills through guided, hands-on experience. Horses have long been part of our region’s working landscapes, and this program helps campers understand their care, communication, and role in our shared history.

Throughout the day, campers will learn horse care, safe ground handling, and basic riding skills, along with participating in crafts, games, and group activities. Instruction is paced for beginners and experienced riders alike, with an emphasis on listening, responsibility, and respect for animals. By the end of the day, campers who follow instructions will be able to start and stop a horse independently.
