A marvellous day exploring in nature this summer, where you'll be able to join in with a whole hose of outdoor activities - look for mini beasts, get making in the mud kitchen, build dens, climb trees, be creative with our craft, and enjoy a campfire (weather permitting)! Suitable for children aged 3+ years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.Session times: 2pm-4pm (please arrive at beginning of session)Tickets are £8.80 per child. Advance booking is essential.Can't make this event? We have lots of family fun events planned this summer - find another event here!?Where do we meet?This event takes place near the Cottage Car Park for Thameside Nature Discovery Park. This is at the entrance of the site before you go through the gate.?What should we wear?Most of our events are fully outdoors and you need to come dressed for the weather.  We recommend layers (top and bottom) which can get mucky.  Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them.?What should we bring? Is food provided?Weather permitting we will have a campfire at the end of the session.  You are welcome to bring something to toast. Ideas include:  crumpets, little malt loaves, toasting tea cakes, sweet waffles, brioche, fruit, e.g. pineapple/mango.  Anything you can warm through on a stick really – we provide toasting forks.  No uncooked meat or nuts, please. Marshmallows and popcorn are not recommended for children under the age of 5.?Where are you based?We are located in Thurrock, between East Tilbury and Stanford-le-Hope?Is there parking?Yes. We have a large free car park.?Are there toilets?Yes. There is a toilet located in the cottage.?‍?Can we bring a dog?Assistance dogs are welcome on our events."
