- **Event Description**: Adolescent Life Skills Course is designed for dogs aged 7 months and older, this course is for those dogs with no previous training and rescue dogs. It is designed to guide dogs through the teenage stage and build the foundations for calm, reliable behaviour in everyday life.

Using kind, positive reinforcement training methods, we focus on practical life skills that help you enjoy your dog more both at home and out and about.

Over our 8-week course, we cover essential behaviours including:
• Reflex to name and engagement
• Eye contact and focus around distractions
• Impulse control behaviours such as sit and wait, swap and leave it
• Walking nicely on the lead
• Reliable recall
• An emergency stop
• And plenty more real-life training skills.

Classes are small and supportive, with a maximum of 6 dogs per class, giving everyone plenty of individual guidance.

Training takes place in our training area located in-front of the cafe, there is plenty of parking  and the Sit n Paws Doggy Deli will also be on site with natural treats for your four-legged friend.
