Step into 125 years of story, song and community at Muskoka’s most cherished heritage landmark. Since opening in 1901 as a bold new Town Hall —then dubbed “Mickle’s Folly”—this timber-and-brick jewel has welcomed millions of patrons, launched the careers of Canada’s great performers and served as the cultural heart of downtown Gravenhurst.
For this milestone celebration we’re inviting our whole community to come together in the heritage building and the square outside, for an afternoon of live local performances, decade-by-decade displays, photobooth fun, memorabilia and commemorative merchandise, hors d’oeuvres celebrating Indigenous flavours and ingredients, signature cocktails & mocktails, cake and SO much more.
Best of all? Admission is entirely free! Just call the box office to reserve up to 4 tickets per person and secure your spot among friends, neighbours and fellow fans of our beloved Opera House.
