- **Event Description**: Clare Fraser and Simon Lace began playing music together in the traditional Irish music scene of Boston where they now live. They are staple performers in that region's sessions and festivals, as well as on tour with A Taste of Ireland Dance Company. 

Originally from Western New York, Clare began her fiddling career playing for contra and square dances before moving to Boston. There, she fell in love with traditional Irish music and became a staple fiddler in the Irish music scene. 

Simon grew up playing rock, metal and jazz around his hometown of Nevada City while being exposed to traditional music. While in school in SF, he started to focus more on Irish music. Since moving to Boston in 2021 Simon is known as a guitar & banjo player and teacher, playing various Irish music festivals on the East Coast and touring the US and Australia. 

As a duo, Clare and Simon search old recordings for lesser known Irish tunes while revisiting the classics. While briefly in town, they will perform their only regional event at Wild Eye. Come welcome them home!

About Wild Eye Pub:
Family-friendly venue, with a restaurant & bar: farm-to-table foods from local & organic sources, a full bar of regional brews, wines, spirits & mocktails, and nightly entertainment in a comfy 'supper club' setting with an easy vibe.

For this event, seating/service starts at 5:30, music at 6:30. We offer table service of food & drinks before & during the event, in our lovely listening space.

IMPORTANT: We *really* appreciate reservations, to help us plan for each show.  For busy dinner shows, reserved guests get priority seating & table service. 

Easily make reservations - just seats, or seats & table for dining - by calling or emailing, 24/7. Your table will have your name on it. A low, sliding cover fee helps us pay & feed the artists.

PARKING: Pub has free parking. More parking is nearby at the corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it.
